How do I place a bid?

Register for a free account, browse our lots, and enter your maximum bid on any active listing. Our system will automatically bid on your behalf up to your maximum — you only pay what's needed to stay in the lead.

What is a reserve price?

A reserve price is the minimum amount the seller will accept. If bidding does not reach the reserve, the lot will not sell. You'll see a "Reserve not met" indicator on the lot page when this applies.

Can I retract a bid?

Bids are binding and cannot be retracted once placed. Please ensure you are happy to proceed before submitting a bid. In exceptional circumstances, contact our support team.

What is Buy It Now?

Some lots offer a Buy It Now price — a fixed price at which you can purchase the item immediately without waiting for the auction to end. This option disappears once bidding reaches a certain threshold.

What is Make an Offer?

Make an Offer lets you propose a price to the seller outside of the standard bidding process. The seller can accept, decline, or counter your offer. You'll be notified by email of their decision.

How does the commission work?

A buyer's premium of 25% (inc. VAT) is added to the hammer price. For example, if you win a lot at GMD 1,000, the total payable is GMD 1,250. The commission is shown clearly on every lot page before you bid.

How do I list an item for auction?

Go to your Seller Dashboard and click "New Listing". Fill in the title, description, category, starting bid, and reserve price. Upload photos and set your end date. Your listing goes live once approved.

Is it free to list?

Yes — listing on Annmo is completely free. We charge a success fee only when your item sells. There are no upfront listing fees or monthly charges.

How do I get paid?

Once a lot sells and the buyer completes payment, funds are released to your account within 3–5 business days after the buyer confirms receipt (or 14 days automatically). You can withdraw to your bank at any time.

Can I set a reserve price?

Yes. When creating a listing, enter a reserve price — the minimum you'll accept. If bidding doesn't reach your reserve, the lot won't sell and you're under no obligation.

What is Annmo Buyer Protection?

Every purchase on Annmo is covered by our Buyer Protection guarantee. If an item doesn't arrive, is significantly not as described, or is counterfeit, we'll work to resolve the issue — including a full refund where applicable.

How do I raise a dispute?

If there's a problem with your purchase, go to your Dashboard → Won Lots and click "Raise a Dispute" on the relevant lot. You have 30 days from delivery to open a case. Our team will review and respond within 2 business days.

Are sellers verified?

All sellers go through identity verification before listing. Trade sellers are additionally vetted and display a verified badge on their listings.

How is delivery arranged?

Delivery terms are set by the seller and shown on each lot page. Options include seller-arranged delivery, buyer-arranged collection, or third-party courier. Always confirm delivery details with the seller before bidding.

Can I collect in person?

Many lots offer local collection. Check the lot's delivery section for collection availability and the saleroom address. Collection must be arranged within 14 days of the auction ending.

What about large items like plant machinery?

For large or heavy items (plant machinery, vehicles, agricultural equipment), specialist transport is usually required. We recommend arranging a quote from a specialist haulier before bidding.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), bank transfer, and PayPal. Payment is due within 48 hours of winning a lot.

When is payment due?

Payment must be completed within 48 hours of the auction ending. Failure to pay may result in the lot being re-listed and your account being suspended.

Take photos immediately and contact the seller within 48 hours. If you can't resolve it directly, raise a dispute through your Dashboard. Keep all packaging until the case is resolved.

Returns are subject to the seller's returns policy, shown on the lot page. Items that are significantly not as described are covered by Annmo Buyer Protection regardless of the seller's policy.
